CHAINAT – July 26, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; the police of Han Kha police station, Chainat province, were notified by the parents of Miss Ploy (alias), aged 13, a student of Matthayomsuksa 1 of a school, that Miss Ploy (alias)had been raped by 4 male students of Matthayomsuksa 3 of the same school. They raped her in the teachers’ house while she was walking to the school toilets.

This incident occurred on July 21, 2014 at approximately 2.30 p.m. when Miss Ploy (alias) was walking to the restroom outside the class when she came across a group of male students who then dragged Miss Ploy into the house of the music teacher and raped her one by one. Miss Ploy told the police that as each one of them raped her the others kept a look out for the teacher who owned the house.

The parents of Miss Ploy revealed that at first they didn’t know what had happened until a teacher called them and told them she had been raped.

Miss Ploy also said that after the incident she hadn’t told anyone until her friends stated teasing her at school saying ”I have 500 THB, will you go with me ?” which caused her to get upset and feel ashamed that she didn’t want to go to school anymore. Soon after the parents of the rapists offered to pay her 5,000 THB each if Miss Ploy didn’t notified the police but the parents of Miss Ploy asked for 10,000THB to be paid by each of the rapists.

However, the police and the related officers had called the trouble makers and the victim to be investigated and questioned further with the multidisciplinary team on July 28, 2014.
