Giant Crocodile Aged 80, Weighing 1-ton Captured In Uganda’s

A massive 80-year-old crocodile was captured and pulled out from the deep of Lake Victoria in Uganda. The killer beast terrorized the locals as it fed itself for weeks with people.

The authorities made serious efforts to catch the monster which reportedly killed six men, however, people can now breathe with relax because their lives are not in danger anymore.

The man-eating crocodile measured 5 meters in length and 1-tonne in weight and was pulled out after a 4-day hunting race on lake’s waters off the village of Kakira.

The croc’s last victim was a man, a father of two.

The attention turned to the crocodile after residents filed ​​complaints to the police claiming that several people have disappeared without reason, and their bodies were not found.

The giant reptile was captured by employees of the Uganda Wildlife Authority and was taken to a new home in the Murchison Falls National Park, which is connected to Lake Albert and the Nile River.

Lake Victoria, named as such after Queen Victoria, is knows also as Victoria Nyanza and earlier-named Lake Ukerwe. It is one of the African Great Lakes and located in East Africa being shared by Tanzania (49%), Uganda (45%) and Kenya (6%).
