Germans Facebook Hacked

A German man has contacted the police after his Facebook was hacked and the Thai royal family had been dishonoured. He has put up a reward for the correct information that leads to the arrest of the hacker.

PATTAYA-24th January- [PattayaDailyNews] Mr.Manfred Peter aged 52 from Germany went to notify the police that his Facebook had been hacked and someone had dishonored the Royal family on his page.


He said that his friend told him that someone had used his photo as profile picture and used the name of Pieter Mangal to dishonor the Thai Royal family. In addition, he insisted that he has been in Thailand for a long time and knew this was against the law. As a result, he decided to notify the police officers and he needed the officers to hunt for the wrongdoer. Plus, he has put up a 30,000 baht reward for the correct information that leads to an arrest.


Pol.Lt.Col.Winai Horien- inspector of NongPrue police station- initially recorded the incident and he reported it to his commander so that it can be investigated further.
