As previously reported, Miss Weeruna Sam-nueng, “Noi” (28), from Phayao Province, who worked at the Mona Lisa Karaoke Bar, was brutally murdered on 7 October 2007. In late breaking developments, on 12 October 2007, at 5 PM, Police Commissioner Police Lieutenant General Jetanakorn Napeetapat and a police team arrested the gang involved in Miss Weeruna’s brutal murder. The victim was a receptionist at Mona Lisa Karaoke. Mr. Suwit said that he had known Miss Weeruna, or Noi, since meeting her at a pub five months ago. He visited her, in her apartment, many times and had a sexual relationship with her. The plan was to sell the car and share the ill gotten proceeds.

On the night of the murder, Mr. Jaruen and Mr. Chinnakorn dropped off Mr. Suwit and Mr. Gusulaiman to see Noi, as if they were making a social visit. They took Noi by surprise. They wrapped the body in a bed sheet and put her under the bed.

Mr. Suwit took Noi’s car keys and drove away in her car. He met up with Mr. Jaruen and Mr. Chinnakorn at Oscar Karaoke. Later, the asked Mr. Arthit to take the car and sell it in Rayong for 41,000 baht and they shared the proceeds. They remained in Pattaya, continuing to work at Oscar Karaoke Bar.
