French Man Murdered in Phuket Bungalow

A 37-year-old French man was found murdered in his bungalow in Phuket. He had suffered server head injuries from being hit with a hard object.

PHUKET – April 18, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 p.m. Pol.Lt. Kraisorn Boonprasop (Investigation officer of Chalong police station, Amphur Mueang, Phuket Province) was notified that there was a foreigner who had been murdered in a bungalow in the area of Soi Phatthana (Sai Yuan) Moo 4 Tambon Rawai, Amphur Mueang, Phuket Province, so he rushed to inspect at scene together with Pol.Col. Pheerayuth Karajedi (Deputy Commander of Phuket Provincial Police Station), Pol.Col. Sirisak Wasasiri (Superintendent of Chalong police station), Pol.Lt.Col. Prawit Engchuan (Deputy Superintendent of Phuket Provincial Police Station), the detective police team and the rescuers of Phuket Ruamjai Kuphai Foundation.

At the incident the officers the body of Mr Faboice Boigeol, aged 37, French nationality ,lying on the floor and covered with the bed mattress, there was also lots of blood. Also the room had been ransacked and property had been taken including a note book computer. From examining the body the police found severe wounds of being beaten by the hard object to his head, face and chest so they sent the corpse for an autopsy at Wachira Phuket hospital.

Upon initially investigation, the police perceived that the deceased had stayed in the bungalow since March 6th , 2014 and was scheduled to go back to France on April 21st , 2014. The bungalow owner noticed that the deceased hadn’t come out of the bungalow in the morning as usual so he went to check and knocked the door but nobody replied, so he opened the door and found Mr Faboice Boigeol had been murdered.

Pol.Col. Pheerayuth Karajedi (Deputy Commander of Phuket Provincial Police Station) assumed the causes of this murder may be a love affair problem, personal conflict or was a robbery. The officers will investigate the matter further to bring the suspect to justice to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
