Four Watch Dogs Poisoned By Burglars In Sattahip

Four dogs that were watching over their owner’s house were poisoned during a n attempted burglary, the dogs were reportedly given pesticide.

SATTAHIP – July 5,2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 06.45 PM, police officers of Sattahip police station were called to the house of 29 year-old Mr. Pirapat. He was alerted by neighbors that they spotted two men attempting to climb through a window on his property.

Mr. Pirapat’s four dogs who watched over his house were poisoned by the two burglars, police were able recover a container of poison that was believed to belong to the burglars.

Mr. Pirapat told the police that as he was at his bar in Pattaya, a neighbor called him telling him that two burglars attempted to go into in his house. He immediately rushed back to house in Sattahip, but he made the shocking discovery of his four dead dogs.

Neighbors in the village told the police that they saw the two men driving on a motorbike earlier in the day and saw them return later with a black pick-up car.

Both men were able to escape from the scene before police arrived, police are now trying to identify the two men in order to arrest them.
