Foreigner Killed On His Bike

A man rode a powerful bike and fatally crashed into a truck parked on the road killing the man instantly.

PATTAYA – February 3,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.10 am Pol.Lt.Kwanchai Numkanisorn-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a powerful bike had crashed into a truck parked on the edge of the road killing the motorbike rider. The accident happened in front of Thai Namthip co,.Ltd. After notification the police officers and Sawang Borriboon rescue team immediately rushed to inspect the scene.

 

At the scene they found a body, Mr.Gregory Simmons aged 51 of an unidentified nationality who was dead in the scene. He had also broken his right arm and leg. Officers located the bike which was a KTM 600 CC of the deceased and the bike. The bike was badly damaged from the impact whilst the truck was only slightly damaged.

Mr.Manit Chairat aged 41 who was the truck driver told the police that he and his men were installing the post of “Money Expo 2015” on the traffic island and he parked the truck on the right lane and he also opened his signal lights. Later he heard a crashing sound so he rushed to check and found that the foreign man had crashed into the truck and was dead.

 

Police officers took Mr.Manit to prosecute while they sent the body of foreign man to keep in Bang Lamung hospital waiting for his relatives.
