Foreigner Committed Suicide In Pattaya Hotel

A foreign man committed suicide in a Pattaya hotel room. The cause is still unknown.

PATTAYA – March 8,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 17.00pm Pol.Lt.Niwat Pengkaen- deputy inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a foreigner was found dead in a room of L.K. hotel. The police officers and the rescue team immediately rushed to the scene to inspect after they had been notified.


At the scene, 18th floor room No.1818, the officers found the body of Mr.Chris Stephen Naveen Rajit aged 28 from Singapore in a bathroom. The boy has severe stabbed wound in his throat and a knife was found near the body.


Upon inspecting the scene the police officers didn’t find any trace of foul play; however, the dead man had left a note “Warning dead body inside sorry about shock”.

Upon questioning the hotel operator he told the officers that Mr.Chris had lonely stayed in the hotel for several days and he would check-out today (March, 18). The operator called him that he had to check-out today and he answered he was packing his belongings.


At 13.00am, the operator called him again but no one picked up the call; therefore, the operator went to his room and found him dead.


The police officers initially expected that he might commit suicide because the room was set in normal condition. The cause of suicide was still unknown. However, the police officers would send the body to investigate the real cause of death at forensics institution of Police hospital.
