Foreign Passenger Hit By Minibus Driver in Pattaya

A foreigner was attacked injured by minibus driver and some people after he didn’t agree the fare.

PATTAYA – FEBRUARY 13,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 04.00 am Pol.Lt.Col.Somkid Sittisart- inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a foreigner was assaulted injured, the incident took place in front of the mount of Walking Street. The police officers immediately rushed to inspect the scene after they were notified the incident.


At the scene the police officers found MR.TUREV KAMOL aged 21 from Uzbekistan. Upon questioning him he revealed that he had hung out in Walking Street and he was catching the minibus to his accommodation in NaJomtien. Later he didn’t agree the fare with the driver so he looked for the new bus. However, the driver followed him and attacked him. Plus, some 4-5 people joined fighting and took his wallet which contained 1,000 Dollars.


Initially, the police officers took the photo at the crime scene and recorded the incident. The police officers expected that the cause of incident was misunderstanding. However, no one gives any clue to the police officers. However, the police officers would investigate the case further.
