Foreign Bikers Caught For TroublemakingPattaya police arrested a big group of Kuwaitis bikers because they annoyed local people.
PATTAYA – July 29,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 05.30am Pol Lt Col Surasak Kanokwilas, inspector of Pattaya police station, and Pol Maj Col Piyapong Ensarn, inspector of Pattaya tourist police, led a team to arrest around 40 Kuwaitis and they also confiscated 26 renting motorcycles.
Previously, Pattaya people notified Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch, chief of Pattaya police, that they were annoyed by a group of foreign bikers riding around all nights. Therefore, chief of Pattaya police ordered the officers to clamp down the biker gang.
The police officers arrested about 40 Kuwaitis teenagers who are around 18-25 year old wit their motorbikes. Upon inspecting the officers found out that these motorcycles were modified and several bikes are not registered.
Initially, the police officers had to confiscate these motorbikes and these foreign teenagers would have to be prosecuted according to Thai law. Meanwhile, the operators would have to submit motorbike document in order to return these bikes. In addition, some motorcycle parts giving too loud noise would be destroyed.
