Fleeing German Suspect Finally Arrested

Police were able to arrest the German suspect who escaped from Suvannabhumi Airport last week. He was in the custody of Australian police, but when the Australian police were having a break, he then escaped through fire escape door.

BANGKOK – May 31, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; Carlo Konstantin Kohl, the 25 year-old German suspect that escaped from Australian custody 2 weeks ago at Suvannabhumi Airport was finally arrested by Thai police.

The chairman of AOT. or Airports of Thailand revealed that police were finally able to arrest the German suspect who escaped from Police custody 2 weeks ago. He also revealed that after he had escaped, he went to a massage parlour within the airport to relax, he then went to hide into an air shack. He then used a coin to open the air shack grills to escape.

Mr. Kohl confessed that he did not intend to flee in the first place, but he saw the opportunity to escape. He also told the police that he wanted to have a short travel in Thailand, as he was fascinated in the beautiful Thailand. He admitted that he visited and traveled to the popular tourist attractions in Bangkok like Khao Sarn road, Soi Cowboy and other tourist attractions and places.

The incident did help the AOT. identify the security loop holes within the Airport. AOT. will now try their to close down the loop holes in over 900 different spots in the airport.

German Suspect Escapes Australian Police at Suvarnabhumi Airport

AOT. or Airports of Thailand ordered to close down a leak hole after a German suspect was able to board an airplane without a ticket. It was revealed that the suspect ripped some electric wires making him able to access the fire-escape door without a keycard. He was already arrested by the Australian police but he asked not to be locked in a prison cell, but rather in a hotel of some sort. He used the moment when his guards fell asleep to escape.
