Pattaya, 21st March 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]: At 2 a.m., while Police Lietenant General, Krissakorn Tong-in of Pattaya Department was patrolling the Pattaya Music Festival area, some teenagers approached him to tell him that their friends had been shot at the area of 7-11 at Boonkanjanaram Temple Soi ( moo.12, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi). The police hurried to the crime scene along with Sawang Somboon paramedics.

At the crime scene, the police discovered that four boys and one girl were shot and wounded. The first victim was Mike, aged 15, who was shot in the left ankle once. The second victim was Supamit, aged 13, whose chest was shot once. The third victim was Boss, aged 15, with one shot in his left thigh. 17-year-old Pan and 15-year-old Ake each got shot in their right ankles once. The five teenagers were shot by shotguns. Hence their injuries were minor.

Mike, a Thai-German boy, told the police that his group of friends, over 10 people, and himself rode their motorbikes to the music concert at Bali Hai Cape. After the concert, he picked up his girlfriend at Tamsamakki Temple Soi, planning to stay out longer. He rode along with his friends and then stopped by the 7-11 convenient store on the Boonkanjanaram Temple Soi.

While they were on their ways to Jomtien, two teenage boys (aged around 15-18, driving a black Honda Wave motorbike) pulled out in front of them and blocked their ways. One of them shot the victims several times. The victims quickly escaped and sought for help. They had no ideas why the suspects shot them since they did not have any fights with anybody before or after the concert.

The police took the victims to Banglamung Hospital. The officer assumed that the suspects might be old enemies or impetuous teenagers who shot randomly for pleasure. The police planned to question the victims thoroughly as well as checking the surrounding security cameras to find more evidence.
