FIFA World Cup Prediction Fever Begins to Hit Pattaya

The impending commencement of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa has prompted the Thai Post Company, Marriott Hotel Resort & Spa and Thai Rat Newspaper into offering people the chance to win a variety of prizes in a competition aimed at correctly guessing the winner of this year’s World Cup.

Pattaya, the 1st of June 2010 [Pattaya Daily News]: The Thai Post Company (Banglamung Branch) and Marriott Resort & Spa Pattaya have joined together in creating a World Cup Football 2010 competition whereby entrants send in their predictions and the winners are put into a draw with the potential of winning one of a number of fabulous prizes, including;

– Gift Voucher for a stay in a One Bedroom Suite at the Marriott Resort & Spa Pattaya including breakfast.

– Gift Voucher for dinner at the Garden Café Restaurant and/or Benibaha Restaurant.

– A 10% off discount coupon for the Dicey Reilly’s Irish Pub in Pattaya

In addition, Thai Rat National Newspaper is offering people the chance to win massive cash prizes in the similarly structure World Cup Football prediction competition, including;

– 1st prize of Bt10 million (1 prize to give away)

– 2nd prize of Bt1 Million (10 prizes to give away)

– 3rd prize of Bt100,000 (100 prizes to give away)

Predictions cards are available for purchase (2 baht) from local Post Office branches in Banglamung, Pattaya, Jomtien and Ban Ampher and various other participating outlets. Anyone who purchases over 200 prediction cards will be entered into the lucky draw to win a variety of prizes, including; televisions, refrigerators, a wide variety of other electrical goods, Diana gift vouchers, Pattaya Underwater World tickets and 1,000 of other cool prizes.
