Female Slashes Her Throat After Husband Took Her Money

A female tried to commit suicide by slashing her arm and neck because her husband took her money. The money was to be used to treat her children.

SATTAHIP-April 30, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 05.00 am. Sawangrojjanathammasatharn rescue team was notified that a female had tried to commit suicide in her room in Sattahip. She had slashed her neck and arm. They immediately rushed to the scene. At the scene they found blood stains on the floor and walls. The woman who tried to commit suicide was identified as Mrs Boonmee Chained aged 39 who was a fish seller and had fled into the forest. The villagers had found her lying down on the ground about 500 meters away from the scene and there were thousands of ants around and on her body. There were 10 slash wounds on her left wrist and 2 slashes on her neck. They performed first aid and took her out of the forest and sent her to Queen Sirikit Hospital. She has 3 children who are Miss.Tatiya aged 11, Mstr.Panumart aged 9 and Miss.Methinee aged 6

Upon questioning Mss.Tatiya said that her father Mr.Suriya Julabodee stole 1,000 baht of her money and they had a big argument and her father left their home. Her mom was so stressed because it was the last of her money that she needed to spend on her children. She then decided to try and commit suicide by slashing her neck and her left arm. The children tried to stop her and asked for help but she fled into the jungle to escape. After that the rescue team found her and gave her first aid treatment.
