Pattaya, 3rd April 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]: At 3 p.m., Miss Ronnaprit Aontien, a local TV reporter, contacted the police of Child and Family Protection as well as Human Trafficking Prevention Division regarding Miss. B, 15, (unknown real name).

Ms. Bee claimed that her grandmother and mother forced her to take Amphetamines, the 38-year-old reporter told the police.

Miss Ronnaprit added that the teenager ran to her for help because she was a friend of her mother.
Ms. Bee’s grandmother and boyfriend came to the reporter’s house, demanding the teenager to return home. However, they quickly left the house when Ms. Ronnaprit threatened to phone the police.

Ms. Bee told the police that as soon as she had graduated from high school, her mother and grandmother forced her to start working, in order to support their drugs addiction. Her family had also recently pressured her into taking Amphetamines, to which she declined.

The police sent Ms. Bee to Banglamung Children Service Centre and continued their investigation.
