Fake Police Arrested

Pattaya police and soldiers have made a statement about the arrest of a gang who pretended to be police.

PATTAYA-1st November- [PattayaDailyNews] at 20.00 pm Pol.Lt.Col.Pawatcahi Sutsakorn- deputy superintendent of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Lt.Chainarong Chai-In- deputy inspector-, Pol.Lt.Armkorn tharnartchana- deputy inspector- and soldiers made a statement about the arrest of a gang who pretended to be police and soldiers.

 

The police officers arrested 4 suspects consisting of Mr.Somporn Klungnak aged 29, Mr.Manop Thongchai aged 33, Mr.Ratchata Arbkornburi aged 20 and Mrs.Kauna Pramloi aged 31. They were arrested with 3 fake guns, 2 pairs of handcuffs, 2 radios, police card case, 4 phones, some methamphetamines and 2,750 baht. They were all arrested in The Riz hotel in South Pattaya.

 

The gang pretended to be police and went round arresting people involved with drugs. The arrested victims were then taken to the hotel for a drug test. If the victim failed the drug test they would then ask for money and if they didn’t pay they were beaten up until they got the money.

 

Pol.Col.Pawatchai revealed that the police officers questioned the suspects and all of them confessed to the crime and are now awaiting a court appearance.
