Extortion Gang Members Arrested

Two gang members of an extortion gang have been arrested after they had extorted money from a Hala food plant owner. The other 2 gang members a man and a woman are still on the run.

PATTAYA-21st  May- [PattayaDailyNews] at 14.30 pm Pol.Col.Prapansak Prasansuk-superintendent of immigration police- and police officers made a statement about the arrest of Mr Denis Zabodaev aged 31 from Russia and  Mr Thor Fenrirpallson Hallan aged 45 from England and were charged for extortion.


Mr.Laurrent Emanuel Thery who is a Hala food plant owner notified the police on 26th may that he had been  extorted by a foreign mafia gang which  consisted of 4 men and a  women at his plant. They took some food and a manufacturing machine which is worth  50,000 baht. The gang then forced him  forced him to stay in the Royal Thai Residence Apartment and they then took  2 Mac books and a  phone before fleeing the scene.


On 1st April the gang called him and asked him for some money again and if he didn’t pay his family would be harmed. The gang gave him an account number to which he transferred 15,000 baht. He then closed the plant before notifying the police.


Pol.Col.Prapansak revealed that the officers had inspected the CCTV at the apartment that the kidnappers used. The CCTV had captured the identity of the gang so the police asked the court for an arrest warrant. The police then arrested 2 of the suspects who were  walking near bali Hai pier, South Pattaya. Upon questioning the suspects they confessed to the crime but the other 2 suspects were still on the run. One of them is identified as Miss Natalia Makian  and the identity of the other was unknown but he was European. The police officers are now  hunting for them.
