Dutch Man Found Dead In Pattaya condominium

A Dutch man has been dead in his condominium by his friend. It’s believed that he had been dead for about a week and died from natural causes .

PATTAYA – October 3, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 16.00 pm Pol.Lt.Sombat Kaewmoonsuk-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a foreigner had been found dead in a condominium in South Pattaya. After notification the police officers and Sawang Borriboom rescue team rushed to inspect the scene.


At the scene in room no. 3/71 in the D2 Centre Condominium, the officials found the decomposed body of Mr.Langenfeld Bartholomeus a 79 year old from the Netherlands on the bed. It’s expected that he had been dead for a week. There was no sign of foul play.


Upon questioning the housekeeper she revealed that she was cleaning when the deceased’s friend knocked his door but there was no reply, so she decided to open the door and found him dead so she notified the police immediately.


Initially the police expected that he had died due to natural causes, however they recorded the incident before sending the body to the forensics office at the Police hospital for an autopsy.
