Drunken Teenagers Flee Police In Pattaya

Three teenagers fled from police and crashed into a temple wall after the police stopped them to check for illegal items.

PATTAYA – February 12,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 04.00 am Pol.Lt.Col.Kowit Sawwasmongkol-inspector of Pattaya police station- was accompanied with officers to patrol around Pattaya. When they reached Soi Buakaw, Central Pattaya, they found a car which was modified and there were 3 teenagers in it. The officers expected that they might be carrying illegal items so the officers tried to search them. All of a sudden the car tried to escape and the police chased after them.

 

These teenagers fled along 3rd road North Pattaya heading towards the Sukhumvit road before the car ran out of control and crashed into the wall of Wat Nong Yai temple. The teenagers were identified as Mr.Suppachai Jiringda aged 24, Mr.Ratpol Pangchantuek aged 22 and Mr.Samortai Lomor aged 19 and they were all drunk and slightly injured.

 

Upon inspecting the officers didn’t find anything illegal. Upon questioning them they revealed that they had drunk beer at Bali Hai pier before they drove around and met the police. They told police that they were frightened so they decided to flee away. However, the police officers took them to police station in order to perform a drug test on them.
