Drunken Son-In-Law Attacks Wife With Knife

A drunken son-in-law stabbed his wife several times severely injuring her. He told police that he suspected that she was committing adultery which made him very jealous.

PATTAYA – December 1, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 3.00 a.m., Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon Munkhong (Superintendent of Banglamung police station, Chon Buri province) together with patrollers and detective police teams rushed to inspect the emergency room of Banglamung hospital after the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city, had taken 1 injured victim who had been stabbed several times. The incident occurred at house no. 123, Moo 1 Tambon Ta Khian Tia, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province.

 

From investigating Mrs. Hom Buakhan, aged 67, who is the mother of the injured victim, said that while she was sleeping on the 2nd floor of her house with her daughter (Miss Kwanruean the victim) and her 2-year-old nephew her son-in-law (which he had been separating from Miss Kwanruean for a while) showed up and was standing holding a bottle of alcohol and shouting loudly in front of her house. She then told Miss Kwanruean to go out to talk with him but they started arguing so she went out to see what was happening and found him stabbing her with a knife. She then fell to the ground and was lying in a pool of blood so Mrs. Hom rushed to help her daughter but her son-in-law wouldn’t let her because he wanted Miss Kwanruean to die. He then got into his car and fled the scene.

Later he came to Banglamung hospital so he was detained immediately by the police. He was identified as Mr. Prajuab Leepa, aged 31, the police also found a bottle of alcohol in his pocket and told police that he threw the knife whilst driving to the hospital. He said that he attacked his wife because he suspects that she had committed adultery and he was extremely jealous. Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon revealed that from inspecting the criminal history of Mr. Prajuab (a son-in-law) then the police found that he has been arrested for murder and was bailed so he could fight the case which will go to court on December 4th 2014. The police then detained Mr. Prajuab Leepa and sent him to the inquiry official to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
