CHONBURI – May 24, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.30 p.m.; Pol.Capt. Saranyaphong Angkhanawin (police on duty of Ban Bueng police station, Chonburi province) was notified that a female had been assaulted and later died in hospital so he reported it Pol Col. Supphachat Piammanas (Superintendent of Ban Bueng police station) and rushed to the scene with rescuers from Sillatharm Association.

At Ban Bueng hospital the officers found the deceased identified as Mrs Maem Marnjaturas, aged 47, residing at house no. 70, Moo 9, Tambon Thoong Look Nok, Amphur Kamphaengsaen Nakhon Pathom province. She had suffered many contused wounds to her face and body.

Upon questioning Mr Ord, aged 34, who is a colleague of Mr. Kittisak (Sak) Kankoon, aged 49, who is the deceased’s husband told police that Mr. Kittisak is a contractor who applied to be a contractor with Mrs. Praphit Phaowana, aged 58, who is also a contractor. The deceased was Mr Kittisak’s mistress and would drink with both of them in front of the construction workers’ camp after work and they also used to argue a lot.

Upon investigating, the police perceived that at early in the evening of the incident night, Mr. Kittisak and Mrs. Maem went to drink herbal liquor together as usual but after they came back home they started arguing as usual but nobody paid any attention to them because they always argued. The next day the neighbours didn’t see Mrs. Maem and Mr. Kittisak came out from their house so they knocked the door of their room and called them but nobody answered so they opened the door and entered the room and they found Mrs. Maem was lying on the floor and her breathing was very lightly so they rushed her to Ban Bueng hospital but she died on the way.

The police are now hunting Mr Kittisak so he can be questioned about the death of Mrs. Maem’s.
