Drunken Employee Stabs Co-worker

A drunken furniture contractor who argued with his ex-girlfriend that she hadn’t taken his employees to work after he had already paid their wages ended up attacking each other with knives and bottles.

PATTAYA – May 22,  2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol.Lt. Nopphadon Inthasorn (Deputy Inspector of Banglamung police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that there were 2 victims who had been stabbed. The  incident occurred in a nameless rented room in Soi Nong Krabok, Moo 11 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province, so he rushed to the scene together with the rescue team of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city.


At the scene the officers found 2 injured male victims who had been stabbed.The first victim was identified as Mr. Khanong Somphop or Sam, aged 25 who had been stabbed in his back. The second victim was identified as Mr. Ekkachai Boonkasem, aged 19 who had been stabbed in the arm. They had both been arguing before they attacked each other. The rescuers performed first aid on them before sending them to Banglamung hospital.


Upon questioning Miss Roongnapha Suriyakarn, aged 32, who was an eyewitness, she told the police that before incident occurred the 2 men were sitting drinking beer together with the  ex-girlfriend of Mr. Khanong Somphop or Sam.  Mr. Khanong then went to Miss Roongnapha’s room in order to pay the wages for his employees then he sat drinking beer with Miss Pla (his ex-girlfriend) and Mr. Ekkachai. Soon after when Mr. Khanong was drunk he blamed Miss Pla that she hadn’t taken his employees to work as she was supposed to which led to an argument. Soon after that the 2 men started arguing and they attacked each other with knives and bottles. However, the officers will question Mr. Khanong and Mr. Ekkachai further after they have been treated  at Banglamung hospital in order to find the truth.
