Drunk Warehouse Officer Rejected At Pattaya’s Restaurant

A drunken warehouse officer of one well-known newspapers from Bangkok claimed to be a journalist, become angry and start shouting at restaurant employees after one restaurant in Pattaya city rejected him at the entrance.

PATTAYA – February 6,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.10 a.m., the police of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province, were notified that there was a drunk man acting madly and claiming that he was a journalist of one well-known news publishing company in Bangkok so the police officers and volunteer police team rushed to scene.


At an incident the officers found man, heavily loaded with alchohol, that was unable to communicate clearly. Man was identified as Mr. Natthaphong Buabarn, aged 34, Bangkok resident. He claimed that he was a journalist of one well-known news publishing company in Bangkok and he came to Pattaya to meet his girlfriend but he did not see her so he was extremely depressed and drink huge amount of beer. After that, he tried to enter into the “Kho Khun” restaurant, but the employees didn’t let him to go inside, explaining that restaurant is already closed, so he start shouting to blame the employees. Therefore, the police asked to see a journalist card as he previously claimed that he was a journalist, but then the officers found that Mr. Natthaphong was only a warehouse officer of Si Phraya Printing Co., Ltd. (Dailynews Co., Ltd.) so the police took him to calm down at Pattaya city police station until he was sober to set him free.


The journalists reported that while they were taking the photographs of Mr. Natthaphong, he was acting weird and also threaten to the journalists. Pattaya journalists called up the head office of Si Phraya Printing Co., Ltd. (Dailynews Co., Ltd.) in Bangkok, to see whether Mr. Natthaphong actually works at such company or not. Journalists got an answer that Mr. Natthaphong was really employee of Dailynews Co., Ltd., but he is just a warehouse officer which made his claims false.
