Drunk Teenager Kills Motorcyclist

A drunken male teenager rode his motorbike at high speed to then cut in front a car that was driving ahead of him but he accidentally collided head on with a female motorbike rider that rode in an opposite direction which caused her to die later at a hospital also injuring the male teenager.

PATTAYA – January 27, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Wattana Pradit (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that an accident involving 2 motorbikes had occurred leaving 2 people severely injured. The incident occurred at an area in front of S.N. apartment on Pattaya Third road, north Pattaya, Moo 6 Tambon Na Kluea, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province, so they rushed to inspect at scene together with the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Rescue Foundation, Pattaya city.

At the incident the officers found Mr. Witsanu Kakarndee, aged 24, which his left wrist and left leg were broken. Mr. Witsanu rode a black Honda Zoomer X motorbike with a red license plate. The other injured victim was identified as Miss Wilawan Yoko, aged 33, she had suffered severe and fatal head injuries. Miss Wilawan rode a violet-black Yamaha Feno motorbike, license number Jor Nor Chor 61 Chon Buri.


Rescuers performed first aid for the injured victims before sending Mr. Witsanu to Banglamung Hospital and sending Miss Wilawan to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. Miss Wilawan’s head hit the ground violently and was bleeding a lot, sadly she died as a result of her injuries.

Upon questioning Mr. Amnart Ngernjan, aged 22, who was an eyewitness, police perceived that before the incident occurred there was a Honda Zoomer X motorbike riding in a direction to an intersection of Pattaya Third road, central Pattaya, which Mr. Witsanu was a motorbike rider who was also drunk. When Mr. Witsanu arrived at an incident point he increased his speed to the right lane in order to cut in front a car that was driving ahead of him in which he then collided with a Yamaha Feno motorbike of Miss Wilawan that she was riding in an opposite way which caused Miss Wilawan’s body and head to hit the ground and severely injuring her after which she died later at a hospital. For Mr. Witsanu (a trouble maker), his body flung to the other direction and was also severely injured accordingly.
