Drunk Driver Rear Ends Car In Pattaya

A man who was driving his car at high speed whilst intoxicated collided into the back of a woman cars while she was turning. The police breathalysed the male driver for drunk driving and found that he was over the limit.

PATTAYA – September 18, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Suphan Sophee (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified that there had been an accident involving 2s car. The incident occurred at an intersection of north Pattaya road cross with Soi Phettrakul, Moo 6 Tambon Na Kluea, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect the scene together with a police team.

 

At the incident the officers found a white Mitsubishi Mirage, license no. 1 Kor Phor 4806 Bangkok, which was severely and Mr. Saran Khrengpiam, aged 32, was a driver. The other car which was involved was a white Honda Civic, license no. 1 Kor Wor 5255 Bangkok, it had been hit in the rear and Miss Witchuda Suay-ngarm, aged 24, from Chiang Mai was the driver.

Upon questioning Miss Witchuda she said that while she was driving she indicated turn left and slowed down to turn into Soi Phettrakul when suddenly a Mitsubishi Mirage which was being driven at high speed hit her from behind.

 

After investigating and inspecting the accident the police made a record for evidence and detained Mr. Saran to breathalyse him at Pattaya police station where the results were positive, so he will now be prosecuted according to Thai law for drunk driving.
