PATTAYA – April 24, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 4 a.m., the police of Pattaya police station were notified that a man was stabbed by a knife until he got severely injured at the beginning of Soi 6 Pattaya beach, Pattaya beach road, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

At the scene, officers found the injured victim, named Mr. Wutthiphong Phuangboonpu or nicknamed “Jack Soi 6,” age 35, from Nakhornprathom province.

He had wounds on his face and was stabbed in his lower right leg, causing a big severe wound that was bleeding a lot. He was lying unconscious in a pool of blood at the beginning of the Soi.

His girlfriend was crying and sitting to hug the body of Jack Soi 6, so the police coordinated with the rescue officers of Sawangboribul Pattaya foundation to assist to do the first aid for the injured until he got conscious again.

The worried girlfriend was identified as Ms. Soodtheerak Phibulsang, age 31, from Tambon Khlongkwang, Amphur Nathawee, Songkhla province. She told police that before incident occurred, she and her boyfriend and their ladyboy friends were sitting to drink liquor on the side of the beach at the beginning of Soi 6.

Then there were a group of 5-6 teenagers, and one of them wore the shirt of the staff of a 7-Eleven shop, who came to have a quarrel with her boyfriend, and beat him until he got severely injured, and then they drove away on motorbikes to escape.

The police inspected the location where the group of the injured victim had been sitting to drink liquor. Officers found evidence of fighting, with broken bottles and a mirror with the stain of blood, which they assumed might be the weapons that were used to stab the injured.

The police also restrained 3 teenage men who are the friends of the injured victim to investigate, and one of them works at a 7-Eleven shop. All of them admitted they were involved in the incident, but because they got drunk, they didn’t know who made trouble first, and when the fighting occurred, they ran away to escape separately.

The victim’s friend who worked at a 7-Eleven shop claimed that he didn’t make trouble, and he did not know the group of trouble makers. He only noticed that one of men in the other group of troublemakers wore a similar work shirt of the staff of a 7-Eleven shop.

So the police restrained all of them to investigate because they were involved in the incident. But other witnesses told police that Mr. Jack’s group was the one that had made trouble first with the other group of troublemakers.

They said that Mr. Jack Soi 6 got drunk and had a quarrel with the other group of troublemakers sitting to drink liquor on the side of the beach, by boasting that he is the local ruffian nicknamed “Jack Soi 6,” and no one dared to fight with him. His drunken arrogance caused the other drunk people in the group of troublemakers to detest him, so they beat him until he got severely injured.

After the rescue officers did the first aid for Mr. Jack Soi 6 until he regained consciousness, he was still drunk and in great pain, so he could not tell anything to the police. So the rescue officers hurried to send him to be cured at Banglamung hospital.

Initially, the police assumed that the cause of the violence was because Mr. Jack’s group thought that they are the toughest local ruffians, so they started a quarrel with the other group of troublemakers first, which made them fight each other, then the group of troublemakers escaped.

However, the officers will follow up to arrest the group of troublemakers to prosecute further according to the law.
