Drugs Wash Up In Rayong

Two 50kg bags which contained methamphetamine have been washed up on a beach in Rayong. The bags said that they contained fertiliser.

RAYONG – September 11,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; reporters were notified that 2 fertiliser sacks which had Chinese lettering on them had washed up on MaerRamPueng beach. However, the officers had collected some samples from each bag to be tested in a laboratory.

 

Later the officials found out from the tests that the bags contain methamphetamine; therefore the officers notify Pol.Maj.Gen.Choompol Chantachamras- police commander- in order to investigate the case.

In addition an interpreter translated the text on the sacks and they belonged to a company in China and the drugs were worth about 100 million baht. However, there have been no further updates as yet.
