Drugs Dealers Caught in Pattaya

Pattaya police have arrested 3 drug dealers in Pattaya. The drug dealers were selling drugs for a prisoner in Choinburi prison.

PATTAYA – July 2, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 11.00 am. Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong- deputy commander of Chonburi and acting superintendent of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Col.Poomsith Singtheun-investigation superintendent-, Pol.Lt.Col.Pairoj Petchploi-acting deputy superintendent- and police officers made a statement about the arrest of Mr Sophon (Eood) Rattana aged 35 with 4,000 amphetamines, Mr.Aekkachai (Bird) Sooyanang aged 19 with 388 amphetamines and Mr.Paitoon (Nut) Teeprasert aged 24 with 100 amphetamines.

 

Previously the police investigated that Mr Sophon had sold drugs in Chonburi and Pattaya therefore they sent officers to arrested him. He was caught with 4,000 amphetamine pills while he was driving a van. Upon questioning him he confessed that while he was in Chonburi prison he met a drug agent and after he was released he brought drugs from the agent to sell to drug addicts. He earned 5,000 baht per pack of drugs (2,000 pills).

 

Also meanwhile the officers continued their investigation and arrested Mr Aekkachai at a shrine in Khao Maikaew, Bang Lamung and Mr.Paitoon at a cockfighting pit, Bang Lamung. However the officers prosecuted them all in act of possessing and selling drugs.
