Drug User Becomes A Dealer

A 40-year-old man, who decided to turn his Amphetamines addiction into a dealing business, was caught by surprise making a transaction with an undercover police.

Pattaya, 14th March 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]: At 5.30 a.m., Mr. Chaicharn Aiemcharoen the District Chief Officer of Sattahip, Captain Suranan Saengrattanakoon the Chief of Drug Suppression Special Unit altogether with the police team arrested Mr. Seksan Sirisak (a.k.a. Sek), aged 40 (resides at 3/3, Moo.2 Saseeleam, Panasnikom, Chonburi) and Mr. Sittichai Kemtong or Dong, aged 29 (resides at 147 Moo.8 Tungdok, Songpeenong, Supanburi). They were both caught red-handed with 8 Amphetamines at their rented house (locates at Moo. 6, Plutaluang, Sattahip, Chonburi).

After investigating further into the story, Mr. Seksan reported that he rented the house and used it for his drugs dealing business. He sold drugs to teenagers in addition to his drugs consumption. The police planned an undercover operation, pretending to buy 7 Amphetamines at an amount of 1,400 Baht. During the dealing, Mr. Seksan was surprised to discover the undercover agent. He tried to escaped with Mr. Sittichai, a customer of Mr. Seksan’s. However, they could not escape and were later arrested. The police searched their bodies and found 8 Amphetamines hidden in Mr. Seksan’s pocket.

Mr. Seksan confessed later that he had been taking drugs since he was 30 years old. He needed 5-10 Amphetamines per day which costed him 1,000 Baht to buy. Then he decided to become a drug dealer instead. The suspect had a drug chain where he bought the drugs from Mr. Chatchi or Kob (unknown surname), aged 21 (the resident of Plutaluang, Sattahip) at 150 Baht per pill and then redistributed them at 200 Baht.
