Drug Dealers Arrested

Nong Prue police have arrested 2 drug dealers at a check point who were caught with 200 amphetamine pills.

PATTAYA – July 15, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.00 a.m., Pol.Lt.Col. Pheeraphat Sornbootdee (Deputy Superintendent of Nong Prue police station, Chon Buri province), forces of patrollers and community police volunteers together arrested 2 drug dealers. They were identified as Mr. Witthawat or Ae Photchakorn, aged 28, and Mr. Opas or Art Suea-lek, aged 27, who was caught with 192 amphetamine pills and 2 bags of methamphetamines which weighted 4.68 g.

 

The police station had set up a checkpoint to inspect for illegal items in the area of Soi Nong Yai where the men were arrested. They tried to flee the police when they saw them but were quickly stopped and searched.

 

Upon questioning the 2 defendants they claimed that they got the drugs from Mr. Supot Thong-la-ar, aged 30 at the Harbor Mall department store, Laem Chabang branch, Amphur Sriracha and would deliver them to customers in Pattaya where they were arrested. They were both sent to the police station and were prosecuted according to Thai law.
