Drug Dealer Caught in the Act 3 Arrests

Banglamung Police have arrested 3 drug agents, caught in the act with quantities of of the drugs known as ‘Yaba’ and its crystalline form, ‘ice’.

Banglamung 1st January 2011 [Pattaya Daily News] . At 21.30 Police General Somnuek Janket, Police Station Banglamung, along with a troop of investigating officials of Chonburi, announced the arrest of Mr. Surasak Pakrueg ( nickname: Krueg ) age 21, residing at 50/1Moo 2 Banglamung Chonburi with 10 pills of yaba; Mr.Shuchat Tuamthong ( nickname: Mike ) age 33, resididing at 98 Moo 1 Dtakiendtia Banglamung Chonburi with 30 pills of yaba, and Mr. Chachanan Sbaibaang ( nickname: Knot ) age 25, residing at 96.16 Moo 2 Stakiendtia Banglamung Chonburi with 40 grams ice, a .38 gun and 22 bullets.

Police Lieutenaant Somnuek Janket said, he had sent Lieutenant Nhit Withinantakit and Police Captain Kornphong Sukhvisith to lead an investigating team out to look for news. They caught Mr. Surasak in the act, selling 10 pills of yaba, to a group of customers on the road Baan-Rong-Po – Dtakiendtia Moo 2 Dtakiendtia. They expanded their search and found Mr.Shuchat with 30 pills of yaba behind the village ‘Rong-Po Townhouse’. Mr. Chachanan was caught selling 40 grams of ice in a road cutting through the railway, by an apartment in Dtakiendtia. After further investigation and questioning the accused, they all said that they were only individual sub-agents, who were selling drugs to teenagers within the area.

Investigation are expanding this case in the expectation of finding the bigger agents further up the chain.
