Driver Dozes Off

A man who was driving his truck dozed off and collided with 2 other trucks before flipping over. Luckily no body was killed and the driver sustained only minor injuries.

PATTAYA – May 10,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 16.00 pm Pol.Lt.Chanda Dermphan-inspector of Bang Lamung police station- was notified that there was a car accident and some injuries. After notification the police officers and Sawang Borriboon rescue team immediately rushed to the scene.

At the scene the officers found a Toyota truck which had rolled over and 2 injured who were identified as POL.SEN.SGT.MAJ.Kitisak Yokanit aged 42 and his wife. The officers performed first aid on them before they sent them to Bang Lamung police station.


Also the officers found an Isuzu D-Max truck which belonged to Mr,Singha Muenchamnan aged 29 and another truck which belonged to Mr.Pattaway Homdokploy aged 32. However, they were unharmed but their trucks had sustained minor damage.

Upon questioning them they revealed that POL.SEN.SGT.MAJ.Kitisak was driving his truck at high speed before losing control hitting Mr.Singha’s car and Mr.Pattawat’s car before his car flipped over. It’s expected that POL.SEN.SGT.MAJ.Kitisak might have dozed off as he was driving; however, the police officers intended to question him further to find out the truth.
