A Dozing Security Guard Hits Electric Post Killing Him Instantly

A security guard of a well-known hotel dozed off while riding his motorbike which caused his motorbike to overturn and his head hit an electricity post. He died instantly.

PATTAYA – August 12, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 9.00 a.m., Pol.Lt.Col. Attharos Khrongrat (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Dongtarn Curve Sub-branch, Chonburi) was notified that a motorbike had crashed with an electricity post and 1 man was dead on Jomtien second road, at the beginning of Soi 9, so he rushed to inspect the scene together with the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city.

 

At the incident the officers found a blue-white Honda Click motorbike, license number Khor Lor Sor 616 Chonburi, slightly damaged and nearby there was a dead body lying on the ground face up which had a severe wound. He wore a navy blue pants and his body also had some scratched wounds. The officers searched his body and found an employee card that indicated he was a security guard of Katalina Residence Hotel and he was identified as Mr. Jaroon Jampathong, residing at no. 188/2 Moo 12 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

The police assumed that the cause of his death to be that Mr. Jaroon had dozed off while riding his motorbike which then overturned and his head hit violently on the electricity post which caused him to die instantly. The officers took photographs and made a daily note record for evidence before sending the corpse to Banglamung hospital to await his relatives to pick up the corpse to perform the religious rites.
