DJ Drug Dealer Arrested In Pattaya Pub

Pattaya police have made a statement about the arrest of a DJ who was dealing drugs to Thais and foreigners. He was caught with a substantial amount of drugs and equipment.

PATTAYA – December 1,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 10.30 am Pol.Maj.Gen.Nitipong Niemnoir-superintendent of Chonburi-, Pol.Col.Thitawat Suriyacahay-superintendent of Chinburi made a statement about the arrest of Mr.Kulchalit Ruktuam a 26 year old DJ. He was charged with the possession of drugs.


On 30th November the police arrested him in a pub and found that he had 3 ecstasy pills on him. The police then took him to the back of the pub and found a further 1,032 ecstasy pills, 69.48 grams of Ketamine powder, 180 bottles of liquid Ketamine, 83 grams of Methamphetamines, a pistol with 5 bullets, 324 used bottles, 1,900 bottle caps, a bottle sealing machine ,a travel bag, 2 microwaves and IPhone 6.


Pol.Maj.Gen.Nitipong revealed that the suspect confessed to the possession of the drugs and he told police that he got them from a prisoner in prison in order to sell to foreigners and Thai people who went to the pub. He was a big agent that the police had been hunting him for a long time. Liquid Ketamine is popular amongst tourist and he sold it for 1,500 baht per bottle and Mr.Kulchalit had to put in the microwave for 3 minutes for it to turn it into powder before giving it to the customer. The drugs were valued around 1 million baht and the police are hunting the main dealer. Also they will be raiding more and more entertainment venues in Pattaya because a lot of drugs are smuggled into Pattaya during High season.


He also added that on the 29th November the police raided the Season Chew Pub in North Pattaya where they arrested 6 suspects which consisted of Mr.Sutthichoke Kutto aged 22 with 10 packs of Ketamine, Mr.Wutthinai Supaporn aged 44 with a 9mm pistol and 9 bullets, Mr.Urupong Srirungrueng aged 28 with a knife, Mr.Pariwat Chanlar aged 26 with a 9mm pistol and 15 bullets and Mr.Wongsatit Larwanwong aged 35 with a .38 pistol with 5 bullets. They were all sent to the police station to be prosecuted according to the Thai law.
