Dirty Car Causes Aussie To Attack In Pattaya

A foreign man who wasn’t happy after having his car cleaned decided to attack the employees with a knife. He also blamed them for some damage to the car and demanded they pay for it.

PATTAYA– October 13, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 18.30 pm Pol.Lt.Patcharawat Charoensri-investigation inspector of Nong Prue police station- was notified that a foreign man had gone crazy and attacked people at the Caltex gas station. After notification the police officers were accompanied with Sawang Borriboon rescue team to rush to the scene.

 

At the crime scene the officials found Mr.Chami Walid 37 year old from Australia who is a Thai restaurant owner. The foreign man had chased and attacked Mr.Taweesak Thepnak 43 year old car care shop owner and his employees with a knife. The officers tried to calm him down but he didn’t listen so they tackled him to the ground causing a slight injury to his hand.

Mr.Taweesak revealed that the foreigner had brought his car to been cleaned and after it was finished he started to complain because it was still dirty and there was a red line on his car. However the red line was the heater system in the car, the man claimed that his car was damaged.

 

Later the man took a butchers knife and threatened them to reimburse him for the damage. Plus the man chased and tried to attack Mr.Taweesak, employees and other customers. Therefore he decided to notify the police.
