Director of TAT Holds Seminar In Pattaya

The Diana Group invited the Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand Pattaya to discuss on how to enhance tourism in 2015.

PATTAYA – August 5, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at the Diana Garden Hotel Resort Pattaya, Chonburi province, Mrs. Sophit Thepphajak (Executive of Affiliated Business of Diana Group Pattaya) had arranged a training day for personnel to development the administrative division and the department of managers of the affiliated hospitals in order to instruct for the role and importance of adjustment for sharing the tourism business strategic by inviting Mr. Atthaphon Wannakit (Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand – Pattaya) to lecture on the topic of “Direction of Pattaya City Tourism 2015”.

 

Mr. Atthaphon Wannakit (Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand – Pattaya) revealed that the market of BRIC group (Brazil – Russia – India – China) are the superpowers (powerful countries) of the economy and this BRIC group and also to keep an eye on Thailand’s economic peace because at this time the market is sluggish so we need to study about other tourism market’s to increase the economy.

 

The top 5 countries which tourists are interested in searching information on are Brazil, America, Egypt, Ukraine and Canada which and Thailand attracts tourists because of Pattaya, Phuket, Samui and Krabi because they have beautiful beaches and islands.

 

Mr. Atthaphon Wannakit (Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand – Pattaya) revealed that at present social network can boost the trend of tourism therefore we need to use social network areas to stimulate the tourism business. In 2015 the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aims to increase the number of tourists in the eastern part of Thailand by 6% or 16 million tourists per year. In 2015, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will initiate 3 strategies as follows: 1. Pleasingly Travelling Weekdays (to stimulate the tourists to travel domestically during weekdays in Thailand) 2. Dream Destinations (the dream destination for tourist attractions in Thailand) and 3. 10 provinces that should not be missed (Phetchabun, Loei, Trad, Trang, Chumphon, Buriram, Lampang, Chanthaburi, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram)
