Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City Checks Jomtien Sewage Treatment

PATTAYA – May 13, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 14.30, Dr.Weerawat Khakai – The deputy mayor of Pattaya City with Staff of the analysis of water quality went to check on the progress and construction of a new and improved sewage system in the area of ​​Jomtien soi watboonkanjanaram.

The new system has cost around 558 million baht and they hope it will support the continuing growth of houses, hotels and condos in the Jomtien area. The project is 95% completed but the installation of mechanical section is half done and is expected to be completed in August of this year. This sewage project is expected to increase wastewater treatment capacity from 20,000 cubic meters to 43,200 cubic meters.

Dr.Weerawat Khakai – The deputy mayor of Pattaya City – revealed that the project is now nearing completion and hopes for it to be completed to cope with the flood water which is expected throughout the rainy season which will soon be upon us.
