Deaf Man Steals Motorbike

Pattaya police have made a statement about the arrest of a deaf man who stole a motorbike after the owner left the keys in the ignition.

PATTAYA – October 15th 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.00 p.m., Pol.Col. Sukthas Phoomphanmuang (Superintendent of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province), Pol.Col. Anukul Preedayuth (Expert Inquiry Official), Pol.Lt.Col. Sompharn Suksamran (Deputy Detection and Investigation Superintendent), Pol.Lt.Col. Pawatchai Sudsakhon (Deputy Prevention and Suppression Superintendent) and a detective police team who arrested Mr. Sarawuth or Nui Thongphaiboon, aged 28, who was deaf.

 

Mr. Thanit the victim told police that in the morning of October 11th he had parked his motorbike at an area near Bali Hai Cape port, south Pattaya, in order to go to work at Koh Larn but he forgot to take a motorbike key out and when he returned his bike was missing so he called the police.

 

Pol.Col. Sukthas revealed that after he received a notification from Mr. Thanit he inspected the CCTVs around the crime area and found that Mr. Sarawuth or Nui had rode off on his motorbike. The bike was then ridden to Chuan Chuen apartment located at Tambon Nong Kharm, Amphur Si Racha, Chon Buri province. The police then arrested Mr. Sarawuth at the apartment.

 

Upon investigating Mr. Sarawuth he confessed to taking the bike so he could get home. The police then charged him for theft and sent him to the inquiry official for further prosecution according to the Thai law.
