The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand while the southeasterly winds from the South China Sea prevailing across the Northeast and the East affects more rain with isolated heavy rain in Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong and Phangnga, as well as Bangkok and its vicinity with isolated heavy rain.
