General Situation

During 28-30 August, the active monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast of Thailand to the low cell over the South China sea. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is likely overall country, as well as heavy rain much of the North: Mae Hong Son, lampang, Phrae, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun; the Northeast: Loei, Nong Bua Lumphu, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Ubon Ratchathani; the Central: Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Saraburi, Suphanburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi; the East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi, and Trat; and the South: Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket and Krabi. People in above areas should be ware of the severe weather.
