General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the lower North and the Northeast, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is likely with some heavy rain in the Northeast, the East and the South. People in risky areas should beware of possible flash flood. The provinces include Nakhon Ratchasima, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. The wind-waves are expected 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.

 

Typhoon “SOUDELOR” has been downgraded into a tropical cyclone. Over over Fujian, it is forecast to head to Zhejiang, China and gradually weaken. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update. The storm has not a significant impact on Thailand.
