General Situation

The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and a low pressure cell over the South of Thailand moves to the Andaman Sea today (1 Nov). Scattered to fairly widespread rain and isolated heavy rain are likely over the South. People in the areas should beware of severe condition. The provinces include Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Patthalung, Songkha, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket and Krabi.

 

The rather strong high pressure from China extends to upper Thailand. Thundershowers and windy are expected in the area then 2-4 °C drops with morning cool in the North and the Northeast.
