General Situation
At 4.00 a.m. on 29 November, tropical storm “SINLAKU” was centered about 500 kilometers east of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam or latitude 12.4 degree north, longitude 112.4 degree east, with maximum sustained winds about 80 km/hr. The storm was moving west-northwest at speed of 25 km/hr. It is expected to make landfall over lower Vietnam during 30 November – 1 December. More rain is expected over the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central and the upper South.
The weak high pressure remains over upper Thailand affecting fog in the morning and thick patches. All transports should proceed with caution due to poor visibility. Another rather strong high pressure from China will cover the upper Thailand during 1-4 December, following with dropping by 4-6 °C and gust.
