Construction Worker Killed By Gunman in Pattaya

An Udornthani construction worker in Pattaya riding his motorbike on his way home is shot by a gunman. The man dies instantly. The Police assumes the motive of the murder was revenge.

Pattaya (October 15, 2011)[Pattaya Daily News] Pol. Lt. Capt. Chalermpol Boonpawal, Banglamung police station, Chonburi province was notified of a murder. The shooting occurred on Rong Poe-Takientia near Klangsuan village, Moo 2 Tambon Takientia, Chonburi province. The police team with with Pol. Col. Somnuek Jankate, Superintendent and the Sawangboribul Foundation Team rushed to the scene.

At the scene they found the body of Mr. Jakkrit Srijomphol age, 42 address: 79 Moo 5 Tambon Baanya, Amphur Nonghaan, Udornthani province. The victim was dressed in a violet collar dress shirt with light yellow shorts. He was shot through the neck. Nearby was a black Honda Wave 100, license number KHOR YOR SOR 964 Udornthani. Upon inspection of the area the police could not not find any bullet casings.

 

Further investigation showed that the locals who found the body of Mr.Jakkritt first thought that he was hit by a car. But when the police came to inspect the body, they found that he was fatally shot. The corpse was sent for post-mortem examination find the exact cause of death.

The police assumes that as Mr. Jakkrit riding his motorbike home was shot by a gunman who followed him by car. For the cause of this shooting , the police assumes it to be an act of revenge or a love affair gone wrong. However, the police will investigate to find the exact cause of this murder in order to arrest and prosecute the gunman according to the Thai law.
