Committees and Police to Solve Drug Problems in Banglamung Area

Committees and police of Amphur Banglamung concluded that solving the drug problems in Banglamung area will strengthen the community.

PATTAYA – September 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at Banglamung District Office, Chonburi province, Mr. Sakchai Taenghor (Banglamung sheriff) was the chairman of the meeting of Security and Peace Keeping committee of Amphur Banglamung and National Command Centre for Combating Drugs committee of Amphur Banglamung which the police and the 2 committees met together.

 

The content of a meeting emphasized on solving the drug problems in the area according to “1 Province 1 District Project” . Amphur Banglamung has been assigned by the Chonburi National Command Centre for Combating Drugs to be the leading district in solving the drug problems and has been doing so since August 1 – September 30, 2014. Amphur Banglamung has been operating 2 issues which are 1. News issue – in order to get information that can be defined for the operation purposes, 2. Drug Suppression issue – by mobilizing forces of military, police, administrative officers and the Office Of The Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) to search the problem areas especially prisons.

 

Also there have been 392 drug addicts rehabilitated, the officers found that Amphur Banglamung has been following up 100% and selected Mr. Saiyan Thassameechai, aged 33, residing at house no. 56/1, Moo 3 Tambon Banglamung, Amphur Banglamung, to be a case study for the district and also selecting the community in Soi Kor Phai to be the Kingdom’s Mother Fund Learning Centre in order to further strengthen the sustainable villages and communities.
