City invites press for Colorful Eastern Fair Conference

In celebrating King Bhumibol’s accession to the throne Pattaya City Council has invited members of the media and organisers of the event to attend a seminar entitled ‘COLORFUL EASTERN FAIR’. Chonburi Province will play host, for the second time, in hosting the fair that had previously been done. Representatives from four provinces in the Eastern seaboard namely Rayong, Chantaburi, Trad,including Chonburi will also be participants in the Fair. The location of the Fair will be along Pattaya Beach Road, starting from Soi 4 and Soi 5, being used as the Centre Stage for hosting a variety of entertainment. The total areas of the Fair used will be about 200 metres. City Mayor, together with the TAT, are the host organizers of the management of the Fair and are responsible for the various activities there. The Fair is to take place on 9 June 2006 so as to coincide with the King’s 60 years’ accession to the throne.

At the Fair, there will be a lot of uniquely themed booths, each individual booth will display products that are locally produced in the province as well as products from O-top. The main purpose of the Fair is to promote the city of Pattaya and its diversity. There will be various handouts and information given to visitors in order to inform them of some of the top Tourists’ attractions being available in Pattaya.
