Chonburi Tourist Attractions Club Hold Meeting

Chonburi tourist attractions club held a seminar to support the AEC tourist market to gather information to support tourist businesses. They discussed new markets such as Indonesian, Vietnamese and Burmese.

PATTAYA – June 18,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: at conference room, 251, Pattaya city hall, Chonburi, Mr.Wasant Temsiripong, the president of Chonburi tourist attractions chaired the opening meeting of the club to discuss the work that had been done in the last 2 months regarding tourist attractions. Mr Atthapol Wannakit, the director of Pattaya branch, Thailand’s tourism authority was the guest of honour who gave a speech to the members.

Mr Atthapol said that in the last 2 months the club had joined a project to stimulate the market of tourism in Pattaya, the Thailand tourism promotion festival 2014 and to promote the AEC markets of which will be considered to enhance the development of local tourism.

 

The promotion of AEC helps participants to become more informed about the latest information of neighbouring counties. Indonesia and Vietnam Tourism is gaining a lot more attention from various countries. Thailand tourism authority itself has started talks with the Jakarta branch and Hojiminh branch to organise trips for the press and tourist agents to gather information about Pattaya.

In addition, the TAT has negotiated with related agencies about holding road show activities to encourage new markets, and focused on Myanmar to show them what Pattaya and Chonburi have to offer if they decide to visit during their holiday period.

 

During the meeting they considered signing up new members to the community. They were the village culture, art Thai Thani, which is a retro Thai culture place, and Cartoon Network Amazone ocean park.
