Chonburi Politician Son Trafficked Amphetamine

Chonburi policer officers arrested both a 30-year local politician’s son and a teenager for trafficking amphetamine. Another robbery case in the same province was also detained.

CHONBURI – May 13, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: At 10:30 hours on 12 May 2014 Pol.Col. Suwichan Yankittikun, Pol.Col. Suraphong Thaiprasert and Pol.Lt.Col. Somchai Muengyai arrested Mr. Sathit Khemkratthong aged 30 and Mr. Kathakrit Noidee aged 29 for trafficking amphetamine. They were arrested with 6,955 amphetamine pills, a car, and a motorbike after the police pretended to purchase amphetamines from both of the arrested men.

After the investigation, it was found that Mr. Sathit , who is a son of local politician and a daughter of a village chief is the amphetamines dealer. Mr. Sathit buys amphetamine pills from Mr. Kathakrit who in turn confessed that he buys them from the Bangkok major agent. The police sent both of them to the investigation officers of Pattaya city police station to be prosecuted according to Thai Law.

The police officers also arrested Mr. Anurak Chasan aged 27 resides in the same province with Yamaha motorbike, mobile phones, and many women bags in his possession. Mr. Anurak was charged against the robbery cases that he conducted more than 10 times in Chonburi.
