Chonburi ‘Democracy‘ Alliance Plans to Join Makkawan Rallies on Tuesday

Chonburi - August 25th, 2008, at 12.00, core leaders of The People‘s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) from every district in Chonburi, had paraded out on the street in a car with loud speaker to persuade the people in the area, to join the big rallies of The People‘s Alliance for Democracy at Makkawan bridge in Bangkok on Tuesday, 26th August, 2008.

PAD’s core leaders also distributed the documents around to publish the reasons that they must go to Bangkok to join the rallies, in order to against the betrayed government, led by Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej.

The procession was to launch the campaign to all families in Chonburi, to realize the importance of the big rallies, by planning to publicize the information broadly to all people in everyway. The PAD core leaders of Chonburi had emphasized that it would take only 1 or 2 days that the people have to lose the income by being off work, ” If we don’t go to show the power, we might have to lose our country” the PAD core leader said.

The leader also added, if the people’s power won, they would be proud to be the part of Thai history, in making the country free from the critical situation from betrayed politician. The procession was going around the city by PAD of Chonburi. One hundred people are expected to join the big rallies in bangkok tomorrow (26th August).
