Chinese Woman Has Hand Bag Snatched

A Chinese woman who was walking along the road had her hand bag snatched by a villain who was riding a motorbike.

PATTAYA -March 10,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 22.30 pm Pol.Lt.Jakkrit Jantakham-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified by Mr.Kittisak Laisin aged 29 who was a security guard of the Bull Boat hotel was taking care of Mrs.Liw Yean aged 51 from China whose bag was snatched by a motorcyclist.

 

Upon questioning her she said that she was walking along the road when the snatcher rode up behind her and snatched her hand bag which contained 7,000 Yuan, 1,000 baht, a diamond ring, a amulet and important documents which were all valued at 50,000 baht. She couldn’t remember the identity of the villain because it happened too fast.

 

She was really frightened , plus she had to travel back to China the following day. Initially, the police ordered a patrol team to hunt for the villain but there was no trace of him.

 

According to statistics, Pattaya-Naklua road and Wongamat road are the worst places for this type of crime in Pattaya.
